My first week at Ixchange was blessed beyond measure. The first day, I was quite nervous for what was to come. However, from the moment I walked in, I felt right at home, and I felt so much peace- I knew instantly I was where God wanted me. I was so blessed in how everyone was being intentional with me and the other first years. They definitely added so much joy to my first day. 

I honestly thought we were going to be in back-to-back sessions the whole week. We did have a lot of sessions, but not nearly as many as I thought. It was nice having that extra time during the day to have been able to spend time getting to know the other Ixchangers, and getting used to the flow of the office. I had such fun moments having lunch with different people everyday- I enjoyed getting to know people at the lunch table.  

I had a few struggles this week; just having to deal with all of a sudden being around 60 people, where it was usually just me. I did say to the Lord before coming that I want to be stretched in ways I have never been stretched in because I know that’s how I will grow. One morning I was sitting thinking about how some situations that happened were hard for me, when the Lord asked me if I wanted to be stretched. I said, “Yes.” He replied by saying, “Well, then you have to allow Me to stretch you.” So, where my growth point now lies is in not complaining and sulking when I am being stretched, because I want to grow and go to new levels.
